I've been loving this mascara recently.

..And so are my nails.
Today I went on a mission to find the Barry M Instant Nail Effects, when this polish first came out it wasn't really sure if I liked it, it just doesn't instantly grab my attention. As time went on and more and more people we're talking about it, my interest began to grow. When I decided I wanted to try it out, it seemed that it was nowhere to be seen. I couldn't find it anywhere. it wasn't something I'd go specifically out to buy it was always just a passing thought whenever I was in a boots/superdrug, but alas it was always sold out. Today I was on a mission, to finally buy this polish. and actually it wasn't that bad. I only had to try two shops. I did have to ask an assistant if they had any in stock but they did! Happy Sophie. I don't need any excuse to buy nail polish, I swear I've bought atleast 20 polishes in the last two weeks. which is sickening.

I don't know what it is about coral nail polish, but I just love it. I never thought I'd wear a glorified orange polish, but it's love OK.
This one is by Max Factor. I have very little information on this, all I know is that it was 3.99 in boots.
I like the formulation of this, its quite sheer, and has an almost jelly finish, if that even makes sense. It wears really well, and just looks beautiful.

A few weeks ago I did a post about growing my nails, I thought I'd do a quick update on the progress. I first posted just over two weeks ago. admittedly I only actually used the Nail Growth Miracle for the first week or so, and then just applied the Nail Envy. anyway, here's the pictures.

so for two weeks growth I think that's pretty impressive. they actually look longer irl, the picture isn't great. but you get the idea.
this is just the right length for me, not too long, any longer and they start to get in the way I find.

hey, sorry I know the posts dried up a little, I had a little splurge a few weeks ago, now I'm up to my old tricks again... I do have valid excuses, I'm back at uni/job hunting/ starting my driving lessons. So yeah, things are getting busy, which is good because it means I'm not lazing around the flat all day but bad because I have less time to blog. I haven't even watched any shaytard videos for a few days! or corrie. lol just shows how sad I am. anyway. yeh, Just bored really. Gave myself a bit of a makeover recently, dyed my hair brown for a start. this was quite big for me as I hadn't dyed it for well over a year, in a bid to grow out the damaged blonde, but I just couldn't stand not dying it anymore. it was really healthy, and I'm glad I gave it a break from the dying but I needed a change of colour, I'm not a fan of my natural colour, (dirty blonde) and the ends we're lighter from the bleach so I just wanted it all one colour really. anyway. I used the John Frieda Moose, in light brown and then bought some extensions, which I love. so yeah that's it really.
