Be Happy, Be Inspired

Just a few things I've bought so far on my visit.

Superdrug had an offer on some of their own branded stuff, the range is called Vitamin, and has various skin care products. I've never looked at the range before, but they we're all below £2 so I thought I'd give them a go. I got the Facial Scrub which contains oatmeal, the Illuminating Moisture Cream with SPF 15 and the Facial Cleansing Wipes. The smell is really nice on all these products and so far I'm quite impressed by them, They contain naturally sourced Vitamin E known for its anti-oxidant qualities. The wipes get rid of all my make up with out any fuss and the exfoliator leaves my skin feeling really smooth.

I like wearing the illuminating cream mixed with my Revlon Colorstay Foundation, alone I find the foundation quite difficult to apply, it seems to dry really quickly making it hard to blend and with an odd almost rubbery texture...but by mixing it with the cream it find it a lot easier to work with as its lighter and easier to blend out.

The other thing I've bought is a new purse. I have a thing about purses, I seem to buy a new one quite often. This particular beauty is from TK MAXX. It's by Suzy Smith and I love it. I've never seen anything in this color before and the gold clasp really makes it stand out. It's an odd color a mix between lilac and a hot pink. Suzy Smith purses originally retail for around £30-£40 so this was a bargain at only
£14.68p

LOVE.

I didn't buy it the first time I went in, I was so tempted to but to be honest, I'm skint, but the next day I knew I had to go back and get it, whether it left me bankrupt or not.

Thank You and Goodnight

I know my blogs have been few and far between recently, soz.
I'm in Northern Ireland at the minute, so thats my excuse for now.
I haven't really been wearing my usual bright nail polish as of late, I just wasn't really 'feeling' it, if you know what I mean. I'd put on a polish and just take it off straight away, Not even my beloved Shirelle(MAC) sway my vote for the next polish to adorn my nails, but because I hate the state of my nails without anything on them I needed to wear something. I'd bought a nail polish fro Miss Sporty called the Nail Whitener...I wore it over my matte nail envy and loved the result. It did exactly what it said..whitened my nails, which stands to reason I suppose. Anyway, while the polish was quite good, it would often take quite a few coats and would end up lumpy almost, and it seemed to take forever to dry, being me I would almost always end up smudging it and have to start over. I hate that about nail polish, I always think its dry enough to resume whatever I plan to do but still end up ruining my efforts. anyway back the the point, as I mentioned I'm in N.I at the minute, and yesterday we went to a retail park called Bloomfield. A pharmacy called Gordon's was selling some GOSH products at half price, (It's a bit more expensive over here) among those reduced items was a few of their Nail Polishes (a few of which I already own) I picked out the nail whitener. so to cut a long story short...or rather not here is said polish.

I really like this product. It went on really nicely and dried streak free. It dried quickly too. I love how it makes my nails look, almost like a French manicure only not as harsh. great for anyone who isn't aloud bright colors for work/school etc. it creates a really nice finish to the nails making them look well maintained without all the fuss.

Haul.

As I've mentioned I went to LONDON! it was a college trip so time for shopping was reasonably limited. I did however get to a MAC store. Whilst at Covent Garden We ventured out to Neal Street to find MAC. It was beautiful.

haha

Anway after quite some time deliberating I decided to purchase two eyeshadows/ and empty Quad palette and a Cremesheen Glass. I know...random

I could have bought the whole shop, but as I'm on quite a tight budget I bought as little as possible. (the bf wants an Ipod for his birthday next week so I'm trying to 'save' some money to buy it. I hate being a student)

so anyway, the eyeshadows were Twinks and Honey Lust and the cremesheen glass was, melt in your mouth.

I'm loving the cremesheen btw, I'm hearing a lot of people aren't as impressed but I'm chuffed with mine.

I also picked up a Keyring

So,there it is... I went all the way to London for a key ring and overpriced make up.

YAY don't get me wrong I Love MAC, I just wish I could afford it.

It's that time again...nail polish of the week, so called because every Sunday I'll paint my nails as I don't have work until the following Thursday! YAY

So, without further ado...This week it is M.A.Cs Nail Lacquer in Shirelle. I've banged on about this one for a very long time, but what can I say, I'm in love.

This is what will be adorning my nails for the next few days.

Here are some shockingly bad photos, but they'll have to do.

Goodbye xx

I set off to work earlier, but felt awful. I got there but couldn't stay so I came home. I've just been asleep. sorry if you don't want to hear this next bit...but every few months I get really, really bad period pains, not just cramps but back pain etc. I feel really sick and weak, and start having cold sweats. this is what happened to me this morning. it'll last for about two hours. its horrible. I have no idea why it only happens every few months, I'm glad it doesn't happen more often though. so yeah that's what I've been up to all morning, I'm cold now too. :(
It's weird because whenever its about to happen, I kind of know, before my period starts I get this feeling that it's not just going to be the normal run up, you know?
I was planning on a few blogs today, But I left my camera at my BF's house. I'll use the one on my iphone but its rubbish, so apologies in advance!
if anyone else suffers with the same kind of symptoms and knows any good ways of relieving them i'd be very greatful to hear it.

hope your all feeling good.
